Housing Waiting lists Reduced via Institutional Investment Opportunities

A recent release from Brighton and Hove City Council has announced that they will be working with leading Private Sector Leasing (PSL) providers Orchard & Shipman.

Due to the growing number of people in Brighton and Hove City Council (BHCC) who are in desperate need of housing, private properties aimed solely for occupancy by people in most need, are offered on long-term leases to BHCC. To help manage the properties, BHCC are engaging the services of Orchard & Shipman. They take the hard work out of private sector renting by offering landlords long time property rentals and to keep the properties well maintained.

John Taylor, CEO for Orchard & Shipman explains: "Leasing private sector property in this way enables us to secure long-term investments for our landlords and a healthy alternative to seasonal and student rentals in the area. It's not a one size fits all approach.”
