How to Let Property
Letting of Property
Letting property advice is complicated! There are lots of things you need advice on such as, whether a property stacks up financially from a letting perspective, how to legally let a property, advice on how to check a tenant can afford to pay you the rent, what type of furnishings you should provide to tenants (if any!) and if you have to evict a tenant, what is the quickest legal way of doing so?
To secure the best lettings property advice, then you need to talk to specialist in the lettings market. Trying to let a property yourself used to be easy 10 years ago, but since the labour government the law to let a property legally to a tenant has changed nearly every year! Worst still, with the changes the new government are making, getting letting property advice from someone nationally doesn't work anymore. Much of the rules that apply to letting a property are now interpreted at a ‘local' not national level. For example, some areas such as Oxford are now introducing area wide licencing for all properties which are let and other areas may well follow their lead.
