Kate Faulkner Presents at the BPF Conference in London
Kate Faulkner debates whether the Buy to Let property market can - and should return to 'pre-credit crunch' levels at the annual British Property Federation Conference in London today!
The future shape of buy to let debate, will be chaired by Rebecca O'Connor of The Times and as well as Kate's views, there will be input from Michael Coogan, CEO, Council of Mortgage Lenders and Alan Collett, Chairman of Allsop, one of the conference sponsors.
Kate Faulkner stated "I'm delighted to be invited to contribute to this important debate. I spent the first seven years of the millennium trying to help educate property investors of the need to do their due diligence and check whether Buy to Let was right for them. Some listened, some didn't!"
"I'm now having to help people losing tens of thousands of pounds on their buy to let portfolios and other property investments, while still trying to steer people, keen on property investment, down the right path, which requires caution and expert due diligence."
"Something needs to change and I hope that the debate will create some good ideas and perhaps initiatives, that will increase both industry and investor knowledge of how to evaluate buy to let, and how the professional industry can work together with private investors and local authorities to help provide good quality buy to let accommodation for the future."
