Mortgage Best Buys

If you're thinking of buying a property or remortgaging, to ensure you find the best mortgage for your circumstances, follow our Top Three Tips on how to choose a mortgage lender:-

1. Ensure your mortgage advisor or broker is fully qualified and regulated by the FSA.
2. Make sure your mortgage broker or advisor can search 'whole of market', ie. can search all available mortgages available to them and are not restricted to certain companies or products.
3. Check banks and building societies for their mortgage products, as these may not be available to independent mortgage advisors or brokers.

There are more mortgage products coming onto the market, and one company that has recently released some new mortgage rates is the Post Office. Here are some examples of their new lending rates:-

• Two year fixed rate at 3.94% (85% LTV)
• Three year fixed rate at 4.69% (85% LTV)
• New buy to let lifetime tracker at 2.99% (75% LTV)
