Prices fell slightly, but not significantly and buyers are definitely holding back encouraged by 'media doom and gloom' and for the new build sector, hampered by difficulties in getting finance for new builds. New homes' prices are likely to stay fairly constant this year, still making a new build home a good purchase - especially as they are built to high eco friendly standards so on-going utlity bills are likely to be lower.
