I am having a damp survey done on it and am hoping all will be ok. Can you let me know if a house this old will generally be free of damp if looked after? Kate has always lived in older properties and has had damp surveys carried out. Any damp rememdies that are required by the survey must be carried out as per their strict instructions, eg ensuring a 'salt retardant additive' is used where required.
