Here's an example of one of the many property questions we have recently answered:-
Q - I've had a an offer accepted on a property and had a homebuyer report carried out. The report has revealed a few concerns although it was still valued at the price I am paying. Who should I talk to about the issues that have been raised? SEE THE FULL QUESTION HERE
A - With a homebuyer report, their job is to point out anything that's possibly an issue with the property, so they can appear to be a bit of a tough read. The best thing to do is speak to the person who carried out the report.
Ideally, you should go through the report and make a note of your concerns, look to see what recommendations for further investigations the surveyor has suggested and follow them up. READ THE COMPLETE ANSWER HERE!
