This scheme is one which an estate agent can choose to join, and upon doing so would have to pay.

- Associate of the National Association of Estate Agents (ANAEA)
- Member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA)
- Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA)
The difference between the above aspects of the NAEA is down to experience. Associates have a technical award, some have some qualifications, but have not worked in the industry for long. Once they are more experienced then they may apply for membership. Fellows are the most experienced, and are qualified to Diploma Status.
Benefits of choosing an agent that belongs to the NAEA?
- Abide by professional Rule of Conduct
- Have to adhere to a Code of Practice
- Updated regularly with changes in law and best practice
- Can complain about a member agent to the NAEA for an independent ruling
- They have access to courses such as NVQs, technical awards and diplomas
