This is the main UK association for removal companies. Most of the large companies such as Bishops Move, Britannia and Pickfords are members. As with most associations they offer an industry voice and try to make sure their members uphold certain standards within the industry, especially with regards to customer service. They also offer their members training via a partner company called The Movers Institute.

Benefits?
The main benefit is that they already show a commitment to their work by being the member of a trade organisation. With regards to BAR, they must also have an independent check as all members must have been accredited with a BS EN 12522 quality standard.
