Regional House Prices August 2010

Breaking figures down across the UK, the top performing area is a bit of a surprise as it's Yorkshire Humber (+11.7% YOY) which from a market perspective isn't performing brilliantly (See buying/selling update). Other areas that are performing well year on year are the East Midlands (+6%) the North (+5.7%).

'Down South' which is currently performing the best of most property markets, Greater London after good rises has fallen back by 6.6% and The South East by 5.4%. Scotland, the North West, Wales and East Anglia.

Other struggling areas continue to be West Midlands, down again versus last year by 3%.
